"As a teacher I find this a very well written short story. The setting is one that many youngsters can relate to, whilst the story leaves you feeling you want to know more about Luke... So will encourage the child to read more."

"This is a fantastic story that will engage readers from the very beginning.
The main character Luke, a young boy who often struggles with his emotions is someone who children (particularly boys) will easily relate to.
The story is full of intrigue and suspense, with an array of colourful characters, and a thrilling turn; it was a delight to read.
It is the first story in what promises to be an exciting series, and I look forward to reading the following installments.
I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed."

"Both my 12 and 10 year old daughters loved this book. It’s not always easy to get them to read (they often prefer Netflix!), but from the very first page they were hooked, and wanted to find out more about the main character’s special abilities. They finished the book excited and looking forward to read the next one!"
